We live and work mainly in the Philadelphia suburbs but will travel through the tri-state region (or further if travel expenses and room and board can be arranged into our expenses). › Are you two really twins ? Yes, we're identical twins, four minutes apart in age. We've always worked well as a team while we're painting. Although we do have very different painting styles - one is more realistic, the other abstract.
› Are you artists? Yes, we both have our degrees in painting (an MFA & BFA) Pictured to the left is one of our collaborative pieces; a painting done on a wood panel with holes drilled through it, the finished piece is mounted on a light box and controlled by a remote. One particular request we had was to paint a "hole" piece in earth tones that would turn on automatically by "the clapper™" Yes, it was made for a bachelor pad! We can be commissioned to do painting for you as well and will be posting a page of our artwork soon. Our art can be shipped worldwide.
› I'm not sure what I'd like to have done in my room, do you give consultations ? Yes, we'd be happy to meet with you and come up with some ideas. We do charge a small fee for coming up with initial sketches for murals but will credit you as soon as a design is accepted and a proposal is typed out. Prior to any job, we will come over and take measurements and talk with you about what you'd like. An estimate is then sent for your approval via e-mail or the old -fashioned way!
› Can you do "plain" painting ? Yes, we are available to paint any room you'd like. We are neat, thorough and use quality paints to ensure a long-lasting finish. We can also do wallpaper removal, fix and patch water damage or any other small repairs. For any large custom painting jobs or jobs with multiple rooms, we will occasionally bring in a third painter to add to the team (sorry, he’s not our triplet!) His name is Rich Moore and he just happens to be our uncle. He’s had many years of experience in the painting field and can also be hired for outside painting as well.
› How long will a mural take ? That depends on what condition the wall is in, we need a good smooth surface to start with so any painting or patching will be figured into the estimate. We work relatively fast but would never compromise the quality of the painting for trying to get it done in record time.
› Do you have a portfolio that I can borrow ?
We have an album of some of our past work, (unfortunately we don't have images of everything that we've done). Upon our first meeting we can drop it off so that you can go through, get ideas, etc. We just ask that it be returned as soon as you're finished.
