Any surface can be painted - including a kitchen island. Who says art has to hang on a wall? This kind of creativity adds a focal point to the room and personality. Color always makes a huge difference in a room and can alter a mood just as easily!
The theme here was water. Our client wanted to take baths and look up at the painted ceiling. We made the colors subtle and calming. The end result added depth to the small room and also a bit of needed personality!
We were commissioned to paint a "boring" kitchen island in a condo that was painted primarily white. This made such a huge difference in her room that we were evetually hired to re-paint the entire room a different color.
